French Presidential candidate Eric Zemmour (think Donald Trump without the charm) has come up with a policy of paying rural families 10.000 euros for the birth of each extra child if he is elected.
He sees this as a way of encouraging the largely white rural population to "hold its own" against a growing urban population.
At first I thought this is blatant vote buying from a fringe candidate but rural children are disadvantaged in so many ways is this such a bad idea?
or would it just encourage those who shouldn't be allowed to breed to squeeze out a few more
