Pea Moth - anybody had a spray threshold yet?

Combinable large blues, just come into flower the last week, so would it be too late for pea moth?

Yes, I’ll be spraying mine today.

If you have just started flowering and have also had a threshold, there is no point spraying until you have first pod set.

From todays PGRO update:
Pea moth
Pea moth activity has been sporadic during the 2021 season, some areas reaching threshold at the beginning of June and some in mid-June. The PGRO spray date prediction model is generally predicting a period of about 13-15 days between threshold and spray date.
The spray date is generated using met data and predicts when eggs will hatch and larvae are crawling across the plant, the larvae being the target of insecticide sprays.

Only put the traps out this morning.

To utilise the traps effectively they should be placed before any moth activity occurs, so that first moth arrival is known. That in practice means mid may. Apologies only just noticed the date 2021. Hey ho.

Started catching 10 days ago. Have two sets traps about 20 miles between fields. one has caught lot other very few to date.
