We sold tons of pea, vining pea in a good year is as good hay in a bad year it's full of dirt and ain't worth having, combine pea if well got is ok if poorly got its shite and not worth having, the point is it vary so much, better to buy hay and probably no dearer for you, what price is it ?

i conventional baled some for a chap couple of years ago, he was using them for cattle feed, ok if the peas were standing and combined well, awful if they flat and had lots of soil taken through the combine with them, hard to get much weight in a conventional, i had springs wound right up and full set of hay wedges, was getting 20-25kgs per bale

no idea of price but have a opportunity to have some this season just wondered if it was worth it
