Ultimately it will come down to negotiation and concessions. Just like if did with the IRA and Taliban however much we were told for years that those folk were to be stopped at any cost.
It’s not World War III, or at least it shouldn’t be. It’s a regional dispute.

Sadly it is most certainly not some minor regional dispute. You do not have to look very far to see Putin’s stated deranged dream. Not quite Mein Kampf but his desire for gaining some European domination across the countries they stole at the end of WW2 and bled dry for the next 40 years putting a totally innocent population into servitude to serve mother Russia
