I have a Pel Job EB 306 of 1995 vintage.Started it this morning after resting a while, tracks and front blade moved,but when I tried the digger arm the engine cut out,won,t start other than click on the starter,battery is very good.What might have happened

The stalling was just coincidence maybe, first sort the starting issue. You have starter or wiring issues to sort by the starter or in the loom from ignition switch

Right, on later model there is a switch on the armrest to energise the servo solenoid, have a look at the armrest switch. Tracking and blade are cable controlled not servo control

If I energies the wires in the switch from a separate 12 v battery,might that test
If the solenoid is working and suggest a faulty switch?

Have just attached a 12v battery to the two wires leading from the armrest switch.Everything fired up and I was able to bring the digger home to the yard.
On testing the incoming wires into the armrest switch I am getting no power,question is where does that power originate from,switch key or some other connections?Again thanks for help so far

Don’t think it needs power! It just completes a circuit which could be an earth curcuit, you need to check if the switch does actually make a circuit, if you happen to join the two wires momentarily IYSWIM!!!
