Phase inverters question for bandsaw

Have a question I’ve a long standing purchase of a 12” horizontal bandsaw with suds pump etc, all my other stuff I’ve bought I’ve changed to single phase over the years, but I’m just weighing up a Clarke pc40 3.5hp as I’ve a 1hp motor and suds pump fitted I’m not sure on hp requirements for that. I’m assuming a static phase converter would be ample?

I did have a try with a phase converter I’d bought off eBay later to find it had been jacked with internally causing a very hefty belt.
