So 2 weeks to go and the libdem undemocrats have realized that people think that cancelling brexit without asking any one is undemocratic ,so a complete change of policy ,which they voted on recently, because voters dont like it ,whoosh change direction ,imagine the press if botis did an about face
If what you say is true they are deader than the Dodo itself. Blind Europhylia has been the backbone of LD policy for years and made them largely unelectable. So two weeks before a GE they decide to reinvent the party in a move to garner votes without losing the ones they already have. Unbelievable. :scratchhead::scratchhead:

The Liberal Democrats have stopped campaigning on their policy of revoking Article 50 amid concern about its unpopularity on the doorstep, and have switched to asking voters to deny Boris Johnson a majority.
Activists have complained that the pledge to cancel Brexit without another vote if the party won a majority is going down badly on the doorstep as the party’s poll ratings droop.
The policy was designed to offer an equally clear Remain counterpoint to Mr Johnson’s “get Brexit done” slogan but campaigners are finding it harder than expected to get a hearing from voters.
One candidate said: “It hasn’t been a popular policy. People are only hearing the revoke message and say we have abandoned the People’s Vote. That’s quite a common thing.…

So they are listening after how many years? I really don`t believe it. If you back a three legged horse because it looks right to you , you cannot add another leg mid race without looking like a complete muppet. You have to live with your established conviction. :mad:
