I have a iveco daily crew cab which has a tipper body on the back. I want to make a basic flat bed to swap it to to save some weight. Most of these seem to made from some sort of folded thinnish steel channels. Are they called Cold Formed Channel? Just trying to find the right stuff to fabricate a base from. Any other hints gratefully received.

This is my mates truck.
Built to carry quads etc.

I'm not sure what type of construction it is underneath but it's strong and light.
