Pickups

How exciting! Just had a phonecall that reminded me that we must be well overdue another pickup topic.

The call was from a call centre on behalf of the Ford motor company. It was to inform me that they had boatloads of Rangers available for immediate delivery and would I be interested in a test drive and a quote. This makes a refreshing change rather than a 12 month waiting list.

I suspect that these are the last of the current model Ranger, not the first of the new revised models of course, but they are still at the bleeding edge of competitive in every way. And available NOW!

The dilemma I have is that I have a Grenadier on order but the truth is that a pickup truck is more suitable for the work I have for it. And the Ford should be at least £15k cheaper. Also I have two free tickets, courtesy of Ineos, to see the Grenadier at the Welsh Game Fair near Bangor on the weekend starting the 9th but it turns out that I have an unavoidable event at Llanelli on that whole weekend, including the Friday. Nothing for months then, like buses, they all come together. :hungover:

However, the purpose of this post is to give anyone in the market for a pickup truck, the ‘heads up’ that Ranger is now available off the shelf for immediate delivery in a variety of trims including ones apparently above the Wildtrak as well as below [Limited and GLX or whatever they’re called].
