Will never forgive Morgan for his antics as a newspaper editor, good riddance.[/QUOTE]
.

Me too, phone tapping is forgotten!
You tell someone you trust something important and it appears in newspaper.
Keeps happening til you have no one left that you trust....family, friends everyone.
Literally sent people insane.
He was up to his neck in it.

Morgan divides people on their opinion, and he often has people disliking him for how he deals with situations, yet many of the same people may agree with him in another.

Basically he isn't a genuine guy, I think he ops for what's the most likely to be controversial.
Brexit, Boris's handling of the lockdown, Good Trump/Bad Trump, are just a few of the things that he has had the same people bouncing around between agreeing and disagreeing with him on.

I don't particularly like him, but if yesterday's draaammmaaaa was genuine, I am disappointed that after all his years of being nasty to people publicly he stormed off set like a snowflake because he couldn't hold his own with some weather man.

I hold grudges and hate a few folk who have done me wrong, guess that makes me a snowflake too. I can live with that.
There are plenty of people I don't like, but I have yet to see anything to be gained from holding grudges, I used to have a tendency to hold a grudge when I was young, but I seem to have gotten over that type of thing now.

Morgan is by most measures, a prat. He jumps on every passing bandwagon and pretends to drive it, his handling of the COVID lockdown was hysterical, fear-mongering and frankly disgraceful.

But...but, he was a useful and influential voice against the current tide of “wokeism”. His opinions and self importance was insufferable at times he but did make compelling viewing and I’ll miss him regularly tearing shreds off the vegan lobby.

But he could have gone either way on any of those points as he's just a soapbox drama queen and you just don't know which pole he's going to set up camp on and preach from.

Yes he’d always pick his side depending on what he thought the majority view would be. He always ran poles on GMB and his opinion would miraculously form following their results.

I liked the fact that Morgan is unpredictable in his views and can be surprised as to which side of the argument he ends up on... left or right.

Not sure who was advising M&H as to where the upside was other than cash...

It worked for Clarkson when he allegedly punched someone and lo-and-behold he moved to Amazon without a shadow of stigma attached to his name so no reason why Peers shouldn't drag a heap of publicity with him to his next gig.
My late father in law always said bad publicity was like dog sh1te on your shoes. If you keep walking forward after a while you don't stink of sh1t and you may need to polish the shoes but you still have the shoes.
