Why do they have to waffle on so much at the beginning just want to get the dam thing done. Been working with pigs for 45 plus years ffs

You need a course (at a fee) for everything these days. I want to snare a fox, in Scotland I need a licence and have to go on a course. I've been setting snares for nearly 70 years!

Bet it's one of those 1/2 hr courses crammed in to 5 hours jobs

I'm always amazed the tutor has the neck to conduct these things as most of the participants have been doing the thing all their life

has anyone ever read "Wilt", he was a social studies tutor in a tech college (for those who haven't read it, very funny comic novel) and when he had to teach the apprentices their one hour a week of general studies, he used to raise a controversial subject and then just let them all argue about it for an hour!

You can't fail have to keep going till you get the right answer , which is mostly obvious. Complete waste of time ,but then that's what red tractor is all about

We would show people around our pigs, usually couples, who wanted to "go into pigs". We would give them a cup of tea and a biscuit, never charged, happy to help. After a few weeks we were told they had bought two weaners. After a few months we would receive an email saying that Tarquin and Jonquil were now offering pig keeping courses for only £50/hr. We never went.
