Hi is there any heat mats out there that are very large say 3m x1m or can you interlink smaller mats

You can buy units that just wire together.

Have you considered putting down insulated pad laying a underfloor heat trace and the screening over the top. Works really well in our farrowing rooms where we don't have hot water. We did the same where we have hot water but replaced the heat trace with 15mm pipe.

Just use waterproof junction boxes. Ours are under the slats and been in 2 years and not a problem at all. Heat dissipation really good too when checked with thermal imaging camera
