Hi all,

I am a veterinary student at the Royal Veterinary College, seeking a placement on a pig farm in the South Lincolnshire area or adjacent counties. Willing to travel further afield if accommodation can be provided / cheap b and b available locally.

Confirmation of student status can be obtained. Please reply and I will forward on the details of who to contact.

I have completed a previous degree in Animal Science from Harper Adams where I've gained some experience of pig production systems.
I'm also a dairy farmers daughter so I have large animal experience and I'm very farm wise. Enthusiastic and willing to get my hands dirty and help in all aspects of your working farm.

Looking to do the placement in March/April 2016, or July/August 2016, for 2 weeks. Placement requires at least 60 breeding sows.
CV and additional experience can be forwarded on.

If you think you could provide me with a suitable placement or know of anybody who could, please get in touch.

Try Jacksons pigs. They have several large units in Lincolnshire, including one not far from Lincoln show ground.
