Who is planning on attending the Pig & Poultry Fair at the NEC in May? I am a journalist/PR Consultant and am keen to talk to producers & farmers about current issues and your trials & tribulations, plus any good news you want to share. Interesting question and valid. Well, I might add, I am paid very modestly and sometimes not at all. It depends on the topic and need. I want to be the voice of the industry. I did a degree in agriculture (but wanted to be a Vet originally!) All I want to do it represent all of you in a fair way. I work as a freelance writer for titles such as NFU Countryside Mag, and The Ranger and Pig World in the past. Nothing I write gets printed without prior approval of whomever I have interviewed and is often a boon to helping them find labour, promote their brands or whatever. I hope that helps?
