Pig pregnancy

We have some pigs and are hopping they are in pig. We were wondering if there were a way of knowing if they are in pig.

You'll know in 3 weeks time if they come back on heat! I don't think you can scan with ultra sound to over 3 weeks.

We looked into this years ago with our vet. There are several methods of determining pregnancy in animals, but for pigs a doppler scan was the most reliable. If you know someone who breeds racehorses, eventers etc they may have access to one, otherwise just wait the three weeks as we did.

I use to scan them. Easy enough to see if in pig or not if that's all you need to know.
