I had a scrap pair of old stilsons so welded a couple of pegs to the jaws thinking it would work as a universal hydraulic ram end cap undoer but it was rubbish so they went in the skip.

Every pin spanner I’ve made has either bent, brocken or been destroyed!!! Had been meaning to collect some tool steel offcuts but in last few years have been collecting brocken tedder, rake and pickup reel tines of different diameter. Next time I have a stubborn or different ram will try these see what they can do. Up to now they make excelent punches and drifts!!! Quite usefull as a replacement for spirall pins aswell :whistle::whistle::whistle:
