Think it depends on what size bottle you have bought and the applicator system you are using. Pioneer use some ULV applicators on SPFH.
However if applying in a standard way go with your normal application rate on dilute the bottle accordingly. From memory the original bottles treat 50 tonnes and the large bottles for the ULV applicators treat 250 tonnes.
Ah now here’s the whole story. It’s a mates silage and the contractor hasn’t got the applicator up and running. So they have borrowed my quad bike sprayer and plan to dilute it in the tank and spray it on the swath in front of the baler. He thinks it goes on at 25gms per tonne but not sure how much water to dilute it with and therefore how many ml per meter to spray on the swath
I haven’t seen the product but assumed it was applied the same as spray at so many litres diluted is x hundred litres of water applied at a rate of so many litres per tonne. Oh well, maybe they will have to wait to the stuff arrives tomorrow and work it out themselves as I’ll be at work.
