Thinking on buying myself a hydraulic pipe bender manual kind nothing fancy just to do my own bits an pieces being looking at a clarke one just wonder if anyone has recomendations before i order one, wont be used all that often

Not really got one just dont see the point in spending extravagent amount on a want when i wont use it that much but will be handy when i do

Trouble is to do a good job you need a good tube bender with a set of formers for each diameter tube you want to bend. Generally a pair of formers cost nearly as much as the machine; which is why I haven't bought one yet.

We bought a Clark I think it was. Used it to make a whole new parlour manger set up with scaff pole. Did a sterling job.

3mm tube bends the best for us any thinner it buckles or crushes I just fear the clark will not have enough power for 3mm tube

This didn’t have a problem with 4mm scaffold, would bend thicker than this too I reckon.

I have the Clarke bender, seems OK for occasional use. Bent plenty of scaffold tube with mine.

We have one does what it’s meant to do with little fuss must be 10 years old.

I've got a Sealy pipe bender that is over 10 years old and has bent more pipe than I could tell you. Quality wise it will do the job and for a few hundred quid I can't fault it.
