Do we need one?

Planning was passed earlier in the year for a house extension. We were going to have aluminium windows and it was passed on this basis. We might now want to go for UPVC to get the project back within budget. The rest of the house is already UPVC so do we need an amendment to fit UPVC rather than the aluminium or are we good to go?

No ,unless someone spots it ,then retro material change

We changed the window colour from white on planning to grey in reality, then we rendered the extension instead of brick. Didn't go for any amendments and had no issues.

Don't know what the letter of the law is tho.
