Got this plant growing in hayfield thought it was Meadowsweet but the leaves are quite different, it’s growing in one thick clump, hope it is nothing foreign.

Leaves are similar, not sure what the flowers on watercress are like and it’s not growing near water

Have a look at Baneberry to see if it is that. If it is, its very poisonous.

I don't think that is from the umbellifer family now having seen the flowers in close up.

I think it is a garden escape, not a native. Trouble is I don;t know the name and it would take me ages to look it up.

Looks very much like lovage as @primmiemoo just said. Ligusticum

The leaves look a lot like lovage, the flowers are not quite as 'umbeliferous' as usual, but it looks stressed and droopy, so probably is lovage.

Having looked at more images I think Lovage is probably what it is. Will know better when it flowers. Thanks guys

PlantNet says it’s Meadow Rue but not sure, leaves look right
