I hope he’s wrong, but after 17 years at the helm of Pfizer I’d rather believe him, than any of our regulatory authorities under a political cosh to ‘get it done’.

As Faceache are taking down all his posts, as ‘misinformation’ - this from a highly qualified vaccine developer - what are they afraid of?

I would look at the Imperial and GlacoSmithKline products, as more conventional vaccines, but not this one.
It’s quite odd how you really struggle to find videos of peoples opinions saying Covid isn’t that serious isn’t it...

I've had my fair share of needles stuck in me over the years, but I always look the other way.....

Cant help seeing the length of the needle on TV now, why are they so long?:nailbiting:

The ones I use on sheep are only half the length :scratchhead:

If they’re saying it’s safe I’ll go with them too, plus my own observations of how few people I know who have died, and of those who’ve been tested positive but have had no problem.
My wife has come across quite a few on the Covid wards who have died less this time round as they are better at treating it . She also says that the poorly people are in hospital for a long time now probably due to them not dyeing. I do believe most people recover with no problems but the problem lies with the people who suffer from it and need hospital treatment . There are all ages in this time by all accounts. Getting a jab means you don’t catch it or pass it on to others . Extra people in hospitals means staff are pulled from their normal jobs to work with Covid Patiences obviously this means waiting lists for other treatment get longer.

Genuinely don't know the answer to this, so hopefully someone more in the know can educate me.

In reality Christmas is going to be a large event with a lot of mixing of people, whether 3 bubbles is stuck to or not.

This will see a spike in infections during January once the two week window for symptoms opens up. How effective is the vaccine when vaccinating someone who has Covid? Will it still work?

Do any vaccines work like that??

Some levity.

LONDON — To be or not to be vaccinated, that is the question.
After an 81-year-old named William Shakespeare became the second person in the West to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine in Britain outside clinical trials Tuesday, social media erupted with joy, puns and many quotes from the great British playwright.

“They really are prioritising the elderly: this guy is 456,” wrote one user, while the term “Two Gentlemen of Corona,” a play on “The Two Gentlemen of Verona,” swiftly became a top trend in Britain.
Others quipped that the first batch of inoculations, part of the first mass coronavirus immunization campaign in the West, marked the “Taming of the Flu.”

Is this a needle which I see before me?” one Twitter user wrote, recalling the words spoken by Macbeth — or as some joked, “Vacbeth” — in one of Shakespeare’s bloodiest tragedies.
British tabloids also pounced on the fact that the Shakespeare inoculated Tuesday, who lives in Warwickshire in England, shares not just the same name as the poet but also a home county.
