Seems odd that Public Houses can legally ban some customers but other businesses can't.
Any business is free to ban /bar an individual or individuals if there is good reason for each; it is unlawful - and could be criminal - to bar / ban a whole class of people.

From what I can see, had Pontins banned any number of named 'individuals' e.g. Sean O'Hara, Liam O'Hara, Seamus O'Hara and Finbar O'Hara on the basis of their being demonstrable trouble makers / thieves / whatever, rather than 'the O'Hara family', they'd have been alright.

Happy to be corrected on this, because I have no direct experience, but from a quick look at the situation this appears to be the case.
