Pop up thingys!

I use Firefox as a browser but am getting odd words in annoying double underlined green writing. If I get near them with the mouse pointer they turn into a popup asking if I want to search for local businesses.


Any advice on how to stop this please?

update to the lasted firefox. try going to options in firefox then extensions if there is anything listed let me no.It could be a addon at a guess.?

I struggled to find the extensions but eventually found a list in Help > Troubleshooting. It was only a list and I couldn't edit them, but, there was a reset firefox button which kept passwords etc. and has cured the problem.
