We have a Pottinger JUMBO 6010 wagon and one of the bearings is gone in the rotor. Does anybody know how to dismantle the wagon in order to remove and replace the bearing? The JUMBO is built completely differently to Pottinger Torro range. We have tried getting advice off of main dealers but to no avail.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes it was actually Ben who got us sorted in the end. The jumbo does come apart in a similar way to the torro but we also have the autocut which was has stopping the whole thing from coming apart.

I’ve the auto cut on a jumbo and if anyone knows how to take it off and keep the computer working right , it would be great, I’m fed up of it in the way , we don’t use it and it’s a total pain in the back side .

I'd say it is easy enough to unbolt it but I have no idea what the computer will do with all the disconnected wires. I would have assumed it wouldn't have affected the computer though. Why do you want to get rid of it? What is it getting in the way of?

It's getting in the way of marketing😉
No , as we speak the knife bank won’t open , there is a senior giving a reading that the auto sharpener is in working position , it won’t go back to park position , so it won’t do anything , I think it’s a valve stuck, also getting the knives in and out is a pain , there’s no room with it , and to adjust the floor chains is very awkward , we don’t use it and the previous owner didn’t use it either , and if I could take it off and get the knife bank to work up and down I’d be happy.

We also had the problem of the knife bank not opening because the auto sharpener was in "working position". Our problem was a stuck valve. Ben was with us for a few minutes one day and solved it. Basically if you operate the autocut valves manually you will free up that stuck valve and be able to move the autocut into the right position. The valve you are looking for is labelled but you have to put a fair bit of force to operate them.....a vice grip and a lever type of force.

you need to reset you voltages in the control box. Mine did this after the battery on the tractor had gone and we changed it. Was told to reset the voltages in the control box and hey presto never done it again since.
