SR Catchers Ltd are looking for poultry handlers to join our team. Based in the South West, successful candidates will need to be able to get to our yard/base.
Work available to start immediately.
A poultry handler is responsible for safely and efficiently capturing chickens on a farm.
-Work within the team to ensure high welfare practices are maintained at all times.
- You need to have a calm and good natured temperament.
- The work involved can be very physically demanding and you therefore should be fit and able to carry out the task.
- Maintain and improve on high level of poultry welfare and ensure all bio security guidelines are adhered to.
- Work closely with the manager and staff on site to ensure all tasks get carried out efficiently and safely.
- To work with staff in a positive, professional manner and be prepared to support the business in a challenging environment
- To carry out any other tasks as the company may reasonably require.
Driving license an advantage but not essential.
All training and PPE Provided.
Starting pay of £12.20 per hour.
30 days holiday per year.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include (But are not limited to)
- To meet with your team at the yard (Or pick up point) at the specified time.
- To ensure you arrive with all the correct PPE and any other equipment you may need to fulfill your duties for that day.
- Once on a site you will need to work with your team to manually pick up the poultry and place into the modules provided. (Training for this will be provided)
