We swapped the FIT from opus as well , as others have said no reason to if you don't want to.
price around and see what others are offering , It may pay to even inform opus that you are looking to change and that you will inform them in due course who you would change to , that way you wont get tied in at the end of the month and it may inspire them to offer you a better deal

i have one with lime jump and one with F and S with F and S i get self billing for the export and an invoice form them monthly the so by virtue the Nett price they pay less the costs they charges the cost are for distribution cost a daily cost and some some reactive cost .
It will depend on your site if you get a charge but check with them as to what if any cost are in addition.
both are ok to deal with and easier to contact then opus

Has anyone heard of Solarplicity? I have had a quote from them but have no knowledge of them. Main concern is agreeing a price and then having deductions made monthly for metering costs etc

I had a good quote off Limejump, but while I waited for other quotes coming back in from other companies that weren't as good, when I went back to Limejump the market had eased and they couldn't go back to the previous price. I have signed up to a ppa with Limejump that tracks the power price, I suppose the risk comes from the power market wholesale price reducing, although early days i am pleased so far the change over from Opus has been smooth. We swapped over mid November and have received payment for November export at the end of December. I would definitely recommend speaking with Limejump.
