Pray you don’t get any wealthy Russian buy a plot next door...

They are so clever. Spoof GPS to direct US missiles away from Kremlin, to the international airport. :scratchhead:
What’s not clear from that report is if they are able to spoof the encrypted military GPS signals.

You’d really hope cruise missiles would be using encrypted military GPS. Doubtless the military aren’t going to admit or deny that (in public).

Jamming though. Not really clever but highly effective too.

The less accurate stuff (ICBM's) use 'inertial guidance' - sensors that calculate time / speed / distance to target from a known staring point, without any need for either external GPS or radar. Submarine launched missiles aren't launched from a fixed point, so they need an additional navigational method: astro inertial guidance, navigating by the position of the stars above.
Or there are 'terrain following' missiles navigating by preprogrammed heights along the flightpath, or 'smart' bombs following the path of 'designator' lasers at very high accuracy.
All pretty much self contained, and all immune to 'jamming' :dead:

So the jibe about “makes aircraft carriers useless” is just utter propaganda machine phoney ballcocks!
