Price of concrete

We are looking to concrete a cattle shed floor, about 6 inches deep. The shed is 60ft by 30ft. Does anyone know a rough price for this please, a price with materials and a price without would be ideal. We are in the south. Thanks in advance.

Makes me laugh does this forum, I put on one thread a rough price and i get shot down because I'm to dear. Then on here I say roughly 3k for the floor. It's 4.5 loads which is an hours work two hours max to lay,

£2,300 for concrete £700 labour, time to go do another job in the afternoon or have an early finish

And that's the trouble when you choose to work for the tightest members of society :whistle:

I am I think 5th or 6th generation farming and proud of my tight status :p

That said, having laid a bit over the years, I now get others to do it on Bigger jobs, too damned expensive to get it wrong!

Do you get those who agree the price you quote, and when you finish it, to their satisfaction, say "I didn't realise you'd be that quick. I am not paying that for four hours work!"?

If you want a nice finish then it would take 24 hours or so, two hours will get it laid with a rough finish but won't be able to smooth it off for hours after that.
