The current price is scandalous but to include the fact that it doesn't cover the cost of shearing is somewhat irrelevant to the main article. That is still the same even if burning or composting.

Always makes me laugh seeing this as I was always told one of the virtues of wool is that it was nigh on unburnable and that’s why it’s great for insulation ect , btw my wool cheque was 70p ahead for texel #joke#why would they pay any more since we always sell it at any price ?
