Interestingly I received an email invitation to your Lanson gig today. If I make it we can share a dram and you can laugh at my watch 🤣🤣🤣
Might have to dig out the old Sekonda for that evening 🤣🤣
crikey...lessons learned long ago....don't wear anything valuable to Lanson.......you'll never get out of town alive!

RRP is a lot more than the price you pay. For example a tractor you would pay 100k for will have a RRP of 160k in some cases that would give you finance on 80k of the 100 or 80% They do it on purpose to help in this respect
I can give you a number of a company who does keen rates of finance on ag plant and commercial gear. They will do 100% or near enough

No I’m not up with the great and the good. If you are speaking there you have a tough gig to follow. They had Charlie Flindt last year and he was VERY well received.
I have a feeling I may have inadvertently mentioned your name to someone there after hearing you at Dawlish 🤦
The secret is to let them all get very drunk before starting one's speech.......It was one hell of an evening.

Got a tenant who bought a Merc evito van in 2020. Cost him £45,250 + vat. At the time it was sold to him with a 280 mile range. In reality it’s never done any more than 90 miles before it needs charging. In the winter with lights and heater on with weight in it, it has been down at 55 mile range. He’s a plumber and luckily had a second van (diesel) which he’s had to use for majority of his work the last 3 years.
The electric van clocked just 15k miles in 3 years and he could not sell it privately and ended up selling it to the trade at £12,500 + vat. Real life example . However the trader still has it now unsold after 6 months ……

A Firm I do a lot for has practically all electric vans and dropside pickups, the vans are Renault kangoo sized things, the dropsides are big transit sized.
The vans need charged at their destination 20 miles away to be sure of getting back to base!

Why not? I remember as a child mf were producing the 3000 series and latterly the 61 series, ford had sle and range command. People talked about all this electronics and how it would be in the scrap yard in a few years blah blah blah, sure still plenty of them still working yet
I don't mind electronics on a tractor but they must have a manual override.. I consider them a handy luxury but hate beholding to them. Totally unacceptable that the computer says no and work grinds to a halt. The Fendt here has overide systems for it's electronic functions which get used from time to time and it has never failed to complete a job or had a dealer to work on it yet but the newer stuff every glitch and the day is shot.. Total nonsense!
