Privileged position

Over the last few days with decent weather on my small spot I felt very lucky to be in the farming game.
I am still able to work and fill my time constructively I have space to walk about with my dogs and the Mrs .
The joy of turning my 1st lambs out this morning is always one of the best moments on my farm.
Everyone who is having a go and people who are stuck in there houses only able to venture out for short periods of time want to think that this is the 1st decent weather we’ve had for 6 months it’s hardly Surprising that some people want a bit of fresh air about and about in the country side . They probably hope when they venture out that they will be on there own . Most of the population is on lockdown and we farmers , large and small have our own space to work and wonder .
I feel in a privileged position at the moment.

Been taking slurry out. Gave yesterday a miss because the weather forecast is good and remaining fields marginal, although getting drier every day. It was remarkably drier today than it was Wednesday.
