After our last one of these left the farm in 1993 I have managed to find another.

This one is a year younger that our old one. It’s a bit scruffy but it’s had one owner from new and only recently been retired from work.

Got it home a couple of months ago and not done much to it yet apart from getting the steering ram re sealed which wasn’t easy as it was a right pig to get the ram off

I’ve managed to find a new pickup hitch from a newer case ih one to replace the snapped hook off this one but I’m finding it hard to get a new front grill as the plastic is cracked and the mesh is not original.

Mechanically it seems fine but we were driving it around the yard yesterday and it suddenly lost drive, gears all engage ok but it won’t move. I’ve been told that it might be low oil level in the turbo clutch. Anybody got any ideas I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Brilliant!! Can’t believe I missed that[emoji85]. Did they all have a creep gear? I don’t remember it on our old one.
Amazing how many people get caught out by it. I bought mine with a gearbox problem where it wouldn't go into 5th and 6th, turns out it was in the creeper gear.
Not sure whether they all had it or not, I've not seen one without it.
