PTO Guard removal

I've just got myself a Turner Flail which came with a Waltersheid PTO & Guard. Got it attached OK with a bit of a struggle but the PTO itself is a bit stiff telescoping & guard itself could do with looking at as well. So ..... how the hell do I get this yoke guard free to shift the guard back?
On the other end (the easy to get at end, of course!) there is a single screw (as per a video I found online from Waltersheid) that looks as if it holds the gubbins, but there isn't one down this end.

That gaurd in photo is just ready to pull off yoke when the white clips are in line with that aperture, to assemble correctly the part covering the yoke assembly will twist in relation to the tube and hold that white tabs in then the single screw stops it turning again

I reckon that might just snatch backwards..... the whole lot in one. Usually the funnel part would rotate, bayonet style, off the white three prong collar and slip back up the shaft so it releases the tube. I can't see it being a bayonet though so I think you need to lever/snatch it over the white tabs.

To me it looks like the plastic tube has already been rotated relative to the plastic collar to line up the tabs with the slots in the collar so just grab the plastic tube and yank it back. The plastic tube and collar should come away from the universal joint leaving the nylon guard bush on the end of the PTO shaft................edit as all the above have said while I was typing.

Just to add, there is normally a self tapping screw somewhere round the smaller diameter of the collar where like where that blind hole is. That is to stop the tabs lining up with the slots when its working and slipping back.

Thanks for the responses - i'll do battle in the morning.
I thought those white tabs were the key, but then I thought " Do they expect you to press in all three at the same time whilst pulling back? Is it German? - Yes then they probably do!"
I'll try the yank back hard first as it does seem those tabs are aligned with their housing already.

The last one I struggled with was a no-name device with completely rusted steel clips ... I ended up hacksawing the bar steward apart then pop rivetting a patch over the split to refit it. I'll photo the bodge tomorrow if I remember.

those white tabs are on a ring that fits a groove on the metal shaft. It'll look like this

so I expect you won't be able to push the tabs in...... you'll likely have to lever the yellow guard over the tabs. Get three flat bladed screwdrivers and wedge one by each tab under the yellow and snatch. Maybe possible to do them one by one but you can bet you'll be chasing yourself round in circles as each one clicks back in!
