Pulsation settings

Recently extended parlour and all computer settings have reset to factory settings. Running a low line 40x40 vacuum at 42 kpi pulsation doing 62 beats at 65/35 ratio. Cows seem unsettled when putting clusters on but not bad when milking. What's your thoughts? What settings you running?

Yea was tested at the settings mentioned. Which is probably normal just wondered if a softer milking setting would perhaps slow milking times but settle cows.

Is your prep leaving enough time for the cow to let her milk down before cupping?
I have duovacs in my parlour, they’re not everybody’s cup of tea, but when you cup the vacuum is at a reduced level until the milk flows.

If you haven't already, get a dynamic test done. Cheap, easy and will tell you more about what your cows are feeling.. If cows are unsettled etc., a gentler milking is unlikely to slow things down, as any 'slowing down' effect of the gentler milking will be made-up by cows letting milk down more freely if they are more comfortable.
