Puma 125 front suspension

OK.. so assuming we have got past the comments that i should not have bought a puma ..; i'd like some help please.

My Case Puma 125 61 plate puma has a failed accumulator on its front suspension.

Local bods not got one in stock and apparently case haven't either... it seems they are content to fit an upgrade kit instead. I am not.

Anyone out there able to help ?

(yes i know i shouldn't have bought a puma.....!)

I think the upgrade kit makes the front suspension double acting, like the latest models. It does improve the ride a lot. I think its expensive though? You can just get the original re-gassed. I think Riverlea can re-gas accumulators? Or try the engineering firms down Pembroke Dock.

Sutton hydraulics at ross on wye. Have had accumalators for 2 new hollands off them.
Fit a bigger accumulator but you will need some hydraulic hose made up to route it on top of the back axle as i dont think a bigger accumulator will fit back in the original place.
Our local nh wanted £225 for the replacement 1lt pot but suttons were £185 for a 2lt pot precharged to whatever you like

Fit the two if you can. Easily done with fittings, etc if you don't want the spend the money on the kit. The accumulators are charged to 15 bar in the first and 60 bar in the second. One thing about the kit is the manifold supplied in it is a real nice job and easily mounted. Changes the ride comfort notably.

60 bar in the accumalator on a nh/case is way to hard, you'll never get any give at that.
If your fitting 2 accumulators 1 wants to be 10 bar (for a decent ride without a weight) and the 2nd accumulator 20- 24 bar at the most. We've got one tractor with one accumulator set at 20 bar and that gives a lovely ride carry 900kg of weight on the front.
If you ring your dealer and ask for the pressure they'll probably tell you 30 bar but imo thats still way to much.

Thankyou for your replies.. Riverlea can regas.. but will only replace if faulty.. so may just be adding to the cost... and they don't know what the cost is!

Have you got pics or a diagram that shows this kit in place/ set-up.. did you buy the kit or make it up?

What was the cost of that?
Cant believe the one accumulator is a 60 bar charge, you'd need some serious weight on the front for that to have any effect surely?
We done one simular ourselves using oil pipe and t pieces and easy enough to make a bracket to fit to the axle
