New to this, looking for some advice and information on how the purchasing process works in regards to soybeans.
I have a client/friend of mine who is interested in importing soybeans from Canada to China. Looking into how the purchasing process works, what is considered a large order these days ?
Requirements are as follows : ( Soy Bean GMO shall conform to the following specifications and/or international standards.
- Soya bean Grade #2
- Standard Export quality
- Type: fit for human consumption
- Moisture: 13.5% maximum
- Max Splits: 20%
- Protein: 35% basis 34% minimum
- Max Colour: 2%
- Oil Content: 18.5 % Basis, 18% Minimum
- Husks: No Husks
- Total Weight: 54 Pounds / Min/ Bushel
- Total Damage Kernels: 3% Max
- Foreign Matter: 2% Max
- Heat Damage Kernels: 0.50% Maximum
- No Rocks, Gravel, Sand, Large Pieces of Wood or any other particles that are harmful to human consumption.
Given these Requirements, are there and suggestions you can make in regards to purchasing?
What is the average Yield of an average farms crop ?
