Putting an isobus cable and monitor on a tractor

With more and more machinery now being controlled through touch screen monitors
And my old tractors not having any screens in them . I was just wondering if it's got to the stage where it's now worth while to have another tractor kitted up with a screen in so I'm not restricted to using one tractor for certain jobs.
I have one screen permanently fitted into one tractor bur if it's tied up elsewhere and I need to do some spraying then it's not a 2 mins job switching stuff over.
Was thinking a round baler breaker or someone like that may now be starting to get a few in with machines they're taking in.

Hi, I like your thinking but .....
A) i very much doubt anyone would trade in their iso harness. and
B) be very careful fitting old wiring harnesses.... They arent normally taken off with much finesse...

Just keep a eye on ebay. I bought a new and unopened loom for £70. (vicon) from the tractor battery to the rear plug and the bits that go to the monitor ,it was a farmer sold his ISO spreader but had never used the loom, and new buyer didn't want it, they are out there.

Recently bought a 7530 that the previous owner left a ISO harness fitted to. Doesn't look like much work to remove so guessing the harness itself is not worth much?

Any isbous complient screen 'should' work with any isobus machine regardless of who makes it. So if Tellus is an approved isobus screen then yes @Chae1 you are correct.
Our vehicle isobus harness is €450 so at £70 you got a bargain!

We have just fitted a stand alone JD isobus harness to our 7530 for about 1k , ATU steering wheel will plug straight into it also . Really good kit but the instructions take abit of getting your head around .
