PV Solar MAINTENANCE SYSTEM Pay-Back in 2 - 5 Years.

    In the UK, an average 250 Watts Solar Panel should produce 360KWh in a year.

    Assuming a monetary value of 13.8 pence per KWh = £50 yearly total earnings.


    We think that it is reasonable to assume 17.5 % loss in efficiency, if your panels are located in the UK and you clean them just once every 6 months. And we also assume a 35% loss in efficiency if you hardly ever clean your panels.

    17.5 % LOSS X £50 = £8.75 LOSS per panel per year.

    Total loss in earnings in 5 years = 5 x £8.75 = £43.75 }


    35% LOSS X £50 = £17.50 LOSS per panel per year.

    TOTAL LOSS IN EARNINGS IN JUST 2 YEARS = 2 X £17.50 = £35.00 }



    However, with our manitenance system ( SPRINKLER + COATING ) installed, at an average cost of £30 to £35 per panel ( depending on the total number of panels, access to panels etc ), your ROI will increase. 5% loss in efficiency is assumed, since the Self-Cleaning Coating will clean the panel surface DAILY while the sprinklers can rinse the panel surface ONCE A WEEK.

    Everyone agrees that Clean solar panels generate more energy than Dirty panels. But, the cost of getting them clean by paying someone, usually out-weights the extra productivity benefits. And so, most people clean them once in 6 months, or once in a year or NOT AT ALL. Moreover, the panels will probably be dirty again within 1 month of cleaning them.

    But, with our MAINTENANCE SYSTEM ( COATING + SPRINKLER ), it is not just cost-effective, it becomes an investment that generates you profit after paying for itself in about 2 - 5 years. Briefly, this is how it works :

    1ST - WE ( CLEAN, POLISH AND COAT ) THE SOLAR PANELS.

    Solar PV panels usually come with a manufacturer's limited power warranty ( typically 10 years at 90% power output and 25 years at 80% power output ).

    However, you can only achieve such high outputs if your panels are clean. Dirty panels will produce far less than 80% the rated power output.
