We had one a few years back, will remember where from - tracker? but incurred an annual fee. So in the end we thought if it gets stolen we will claim on insurance and the increase in insurance may well relate to the annual cost of the tracking device. But maybe @TripleSix has found something better, with no annual fee?

Nah, it still costs £188 a year but the tracker company actually comes out and finds and recovers the machine for you.
And gives you money towards recovery.

If the tracker is Thatcham Approved then the insurance Co could give a discount on the annual premium ( But check the details with the ins. c. before you take out the contract.)

That’s strong money per annum,if you had 2 or 3 trackers would it be that amount per tracker?

They have tracker locators anyway so they will have it thrown in a ditch if your not sharpish. My mate found his stepladders next to his tracker so at least he got something back
Ah crap. Thought they left them in woods for a few days to see if they had trackers fitted. Buggers getting high tech.

The automatrics tracker is mostly immune to being found with a tracker locator because it doesn't emit signal until it's activated and is on GSM and a different RF to the radio find trackers.

Plus there is no wires to give away it's location.

Catching the criminals is a good thing and we should do everything we can to stop them But.... Once something’s been stolen and abused by someone else do you actually want it back/ do you get a choice if it’s recovered
