First thing ask yourself how much you like the Honda and then ask yourself does it do the jobs you need it to.

If you can't fault the bike you have, another the same is probably best way forward. Unless you're keen for a change... then you need to go and see/drive them and see how you feel.

If you haven't had a price for a bike in a while you may be a bit shocked, so brace yourself. I've just bought a new one and it's about 3k dearer than it was 4yr ago 🫤

Suzuki 500 9k honda 420 £8750

I’ve had 3 420’s they are ok but a poor representation of what Honda can do. Think the 420 was the start of Honda cost cutting or cutting corners. I know all the faults and they keep happening knock ball joints out for fun, axles stripping and snapping, engine part’s wearing out, then there’s the expensive electrical faults that can be costly one thing knackers another.
There’s really no reason not to buy the Suzuki. As a loyal Honda fen the 420 made me buy the Suzuki and I wouldn’t hesitate to get another. Everyone jumps on the Suzuki before the Hondas here too which says it all.

Yes something like that... I had one delivered 2 weeks ago
Was thinking of changing our 3 year old, £4500 to change against a new one at £8800 no power steering, kept it try again next year, only on 6000 miles 1100 hours. Thought it was a bit steep, or thats the way the job is.

Never had one & never will in a high crime area.

But they don't seem to last very long. All the David Browns bought when I left school are still working somewhere but not seen any Honda trikes in a long time.

What is the weak spot in them?
If David Broons were as unstable/dangerous as a Honda trike was you wouldn`t see many of them either......:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Quads are a bit like telehandlers - they can do a LOT of work on working livestock farms so they won`t last for ever in that scenario...

I would have a Suzuki, we have a Honda and a Kawasaki (wouldn’t recommend that as it is a different animal to 420 being that they only do 750’s) the Honda spend half its life having the gear box repaired and it a horrible thing to ride being so clunky. The Kawasaki is belt like the Suzuki and that much nicer and less troublesome. My mate is a machinery sales man and says if all kit he sold was a trouble free as Suzuki bikes his life would be very easy.
