Whats a good quarter inch hex to half inch square drive adapter?
I got myself a milwaukee driver, trouble is its sheared all my adapters, and now 3 genuine milwaukee shockwave adapters. Only using it on 17mm nuts so not really stressing it too much I don't think. I reckon it'd strip the threads given a chance though, got some real power for it's size.

Dewalt?
Makita?
Cheap n nasty?

Where's best to buy plenty as I can only find some quite expensive ones at a fiver a pop plus post for genuine milwaukee.

Handy little thing to have in the toolbox.

Go to 3/8 drive and buy a set ofb3/8 impact shallow sockets. If you’re going to actually use it a lot you might as well buy a bare 3/8 impact though.
It came as part of a kit with drill. Been very impressed.

Why's the 3/8 inch adapter better?

May well look at other impacts having used this. Miles easier than air guns.

Seems daft to have made a gun which will shear quarter hex drive for fun, which has a quarter hex drive.,

I bought a new set of drill and driver last year aswell. No real reason just maybe with 3/8 you will use it more sparingly? Been usin mine with a 1/4 adaptor for m8 bolts etc. It’s flipping awesome!!!

to be fair, the rate I'm going through adapters a 3/8 gun won't be long being paid for.
The torque is mega for it's size.

A quarter inch hex drive impact gun, shearing it's adapter to use a half inch square drive socket.
I sheered my 1/4 to half inch however have got on fine using the 1/4 hex to 3/8 plus a 3/8 to 1/2 impact socket adapter (until i lost it). Have just ordered a pack of three of ebay for £5ish (1/4, 3/8 and 1/2)

Ask in Ashford market, Thanet Tools I think it is? They have a bit of an Aladins cave of stuff.
