quickie loader blowing pipes !

got a massey with a quickie 940 loader, hauling straw last night and pipe blew on the crowd, strip down and seen it had blow the pipe off the fitting, so fix it today, pipe on and then it got the quick release fittings with them plastic tags, so connect up and blown pipe out of fitting, oil everywhere again, so check push it back give it a wiggle and make sure it in properly , does it again, so thought lost an oil ring so take another fitting off to check, all the same , now connect back up and that one blows out !! too much pressure or she not holding pressure, any tips ???

They can be a pain to get to stay in are they still single wire pipe the one I have
I changed all the piles to double wire as the pipes where bursting while tiping potato boxes

Push the pipe inwards, sharply pull back, then fit plastic clip.

Tag/plastic washer should be on before you push pipe in

I've had the same issue!

LEAVE THE TAG ON when pushing the pipes in.

Annoying that those push ends can only be sourced from quickie, hydraulic firms cannot source them. I had to phone a friend when a pipe burst for advice because i was expecting to just undo the pipe from a block and then when i took the covering off i saw those push fitting things, it had me stumped.

was told by dad that he was on the massey stand at royal welsh and asking rep and he said they had problems with them and the pipes were sh!t !!!!

The fittings will unscrew out of the block and can be replaced with ordinary pipes we’ve done a few like this

This, just unscrew the fitting and replace with a male male union, can’t remember now if they are M18 or 3/8 BSP though

thats what ive done , standard fittings and sod the fancy quick release !!!!!!!

I had this, it turned out the pipe was pulling out when you roll the head stock over.
Route the pipe back as it was and clamp it to stop it moving [emoji4]

If its the ones on the block at front
pull the red plastic
clip out push pipe in and then pull out
