Hi,

Anyone with a R series or M series with over 5000hrs needs to check there engine mounts. The engines only have 3 mounts and fail really easily. This drops the engine down and misaligns the driveshaft to the transmission and inturn that can make the driveshaft ujs fail and if it's and ivt that can crack the input shaft into the ivt. The flywheel snub also wears out. Picture attached.

I read (maybe on here) about r s and m s with UJ failure but there was no mention of the engine mounts causing it. That will be very helpful for many.

Yeah lets hope they check them asap. Its a horrible bit of engineering. The cab nearly needs to be removed to do the rear mount. But it can be done without removal.
