Rabbit repellent spray

Is there such a spray I can put on my spring barley to stop rabbits eating it. Price as well please. Found some on Google about 10 pound a hectare but don't know how good it is

There used to be a garlic based spray touted around but can’t remember it’s name.

The fact it’s nit advertised now probably tells you how effective it was.

Several doses of 28gms of no 6 shot should do the trick or failing that a doses of .17hmr is another good deterrent.

If you look up grazers.co.uk they sell a product costing between £5 and £8 /acre, no idea if it works though!

A fungicide called thiram works but don't think you can still get it.
Lead works, plenty of people out there wanting to shoot rabbits if you don't mind them about the place.

Ok thanks for the quick reply. All we need is about if rain and it will over take them. Few boys round shooting but they are wild as hawk's now and 1 shot there gone

I don't think the Grazers stuff lasts for very long. Not as long as the rabbits do anyway. Fencing if you can't get to them, and ferrets or gas if you can. I'd spend the money on a Rodenator personally, having made sure the burrows were empty first of course

Night shooting is the only way, nv .22 using subsonic, will make a big hole in them over a few nights.

Ferrets would be the best but most only operate later in the year due to killing the young and spending more time digging them out
