Rabbits

I have a problem with an increasing number of rabbits around a yard. They are eating a a lot of crop off now. I thought we were winning the fight and then they got mixy so I thought that would be it. They seem to have regrouped over harvest and come back with vengeance. Apart from shooting them which seems fairly steady especially with my talents what options are there? Also a fair percentage of the little sods have tactically embedded in a private houses garden who are sympathetic to their cause.

Put up a proper rabbit fence around your boundary, digging the netting in. One crop saved will pay for it and it will last for many more.

The little barstewards are here too, digging in the sides of ditches. Then the dogs come along and try to dig the rabbits out! The result is a blocked ditch.

I really think you have to hit them with everything. Ferrets, lurchers, lamping, snares, traps, drop boxes, and anything else you can think of.
