Radio 4 - The Cows Are Mad

Did they mention the change in the rendering temperatures?

Or the fact that Prosper de Mulder operated across the EU. The Dutch based company ‘added value to abattoir by products ‘.

Or the fact that the only thing unique to GB about this car crash, was the reporting.

EU documents at the time decided that there wasn’t enough cash for a Community wide compensation scheme, so the cases in GB would lead research and member states would follow.

Thus the reporting was geared to that. One case, one cow, full comp. Very different in the .EU. I won’t go into all the details, but I have all the documentation. Including our submission to the Enquiry.

Tough times.

Disappointed that they kept referring to "cannibal cows" with reference to MBM.
Thought the Mark Purdy bit was interesting, with the implication that Special Branch were all over him.
Tiguvon treatment for warbles, and OP dips on sheep were compulsory as I recall?
Wonder why the Government would want to silence detractors?
Bit like that utter b@stard Soames standing in Parliament denying the existence of Gulf War Syndrome, when ex servicemen were ill and dying from it.

There should have been furlough, bounce back loans, and compensation.
Same with foot and mouth.
I never really recovered from that shitshow

Was that from OP spraying bugs?

Even young people suffered from Kuru- in the affected groups at any rate. I've seen some quite sad footage of them. People of all ages suffering with it.
If you noticed, the n of nVCJD was quietly dropped when it was revealed that a very young person’s brain, from several decades ago and held in the Corsellis collection in the UK had the same lesions. It was neither ‘new’ nor ‘novel’.

I sent Mark P a bottle of Tiguvon we had left over. No idea what he did with it. But as MAFF at the time said it was harmless, it went Royal Mail. 🙄

I also argued with Mark as to the effect of either MBM ingestion, or OP application did not affect the adult animal, but in our cases, it did affect the calf she was carrying. Particularly OP application.
