harness , and change 15-17 days , be ready with another fit to go as cover , or split flock give him a few , is this recent damage ? if so could be infection (and temp) in which case will prob be infertile

Der!
Get the vet to check him out.
Then if he's useless cash him in whilst he's worth something and there's plenty of tup sales about. Rocket science it is not.

A Vet once said “one is necessity, two is luxury”. It may be that he doesn’t have an epididymis on one side or just that one is smaller than the other. How vital is it that you get a high % in lamb first time? The more it is the more tempted I’d be to cull him and start again.

Your comment speaks volumes about you! 😡

if there is a fault with a ram a ram sale is NOT were he should go!
No it doesn't!
It's a comment in 2 halves.
1) cash him. (as in Kebabs.)
2) plenty of tup sales about. (To replace him.)
Shame I have to spell it out, but thanks for drawing my lack of vocabulational dexterity to everyones attention(!)

He is only there for one reason, your profit is determined by him, but I've had plenty of folk asking have you got a cheap one in the cull pen, one ball will do. As above sell him and get a complete machine.
