If you Unplug the map sensor (boost sensor) the thing revs like normal and has boost when driving , but only limp mode with it plugged in .
(Same with a new mAP SENSOR I BOUGHT)
I've cleaned the egr system which was completely blocked in 3 places and cleaned maf sensor .
Serviced it , checked fuses .

Please somebody enlighten me. No info on these models
I Can not even find the PCValve .
Thanks

Yes I did try that.a few times also with a jumper cable to the negative While off the terminal .
I cleaned the intercooler also. And had a mechanic check codes.
It has no codes.

He discovered map sensor , so I went got a new one . Reset it and still nothing.
I dont want to go back to him, because he already cost me with out a fix. And no confident data of what's restricting it

I've tried seafoam also.
Did nothing

If its in limp mode with the sensor plugged in, and ok with the sensor disconnected it’s probably either sensor or wiring. If you’ve changed the sensor then I would look at the wiring from the sensor to the ecu.
If you cannot see anything you would need the laptop plugged in and check the actual signals from the sensor while driving.

Ok. Well the loom is quite well wrapped up and I've checked wiggles pulled the wires. No response.
Thing is I expected the guy to have been confident it wasnt the wiring before telling me to get a new map. He spent 2 hours on it??

I told him what's happened of course and he said bring it and have to leave it with me.
I'm seeing 500 later.
Rather than doing it right in first place.
Problem is this model has a strange 25 pin mazda diagnosis port. So hard to find anybody to be able to read the ecu

Thank you for the replies so far. It's nice to be able to talk about it.
And possibly get some fresh views
Ie wiring .
I might just have to throw it back at the guy as tell him what info I expect
Fuel trims and sensors and wiring communicating ect .

Should be fairly quick routine for somebody who does it everyday, I always imagined

Hey man thanks. Yeah undone bolts from turbo exhaust let.
Still 2 k revs.

Birds nest where exactly? In the exhuast? Hha
Yeah I did a service air fuel oil coolant.
Nothing changed.

Pretty sure boost hoses are good.
This mini filter I have searched for and I can not find it.
Either inside the bojo bolt or below the banjo bolt. No spring no filter
Or am I just doing it wrong.
That's what's really bugged me actually.

Exhaust not blocked?

Air filter ok?
No birds nests?
Boost hoses collapsing whilst driving?

I think these have a tiny filter inside the fuel pump inlet.

EGR valve?

Mine shogun was smokin and management lights on.
Stripped out egr valve and cleaned , goes like a train again now!
yes mate I was hoping that result.
I took mine off from vavle through to cooler and exhaust manifold . It was completely blocked in 3 spots. It's like new now. But still the same 2 k revs in all gears

The egr has a electronic piece on its head with wiring harness clip next to nipple for vacum line .
But yeah I was wondering about that bit.
Maybe I should go check its electrical communications with a multimeter.
Didn't really know what it's doing. Has been invisible to me hahah until now :)

So that's a postion senor yeah, theres really no info on these models.
