Yes they could be going up the diagonal support now you mention itYes the only thing they can’t is shiney tin or steel. Can they run up the rsj diagonal supports and jump onto the top of the panel

Father in laws old place he worked at they couldn't work out how the rats were getting in, no low level entry points as all had been sealed. Eventually noticed 1 with its back against the tin and walking up the outside of the downpipe to go up and in at the eavesoh yes they can,
