Re-Laying Concrete: Budget Cost Please

Am looking to level up a 90'x30' shed with about 3 different levels of deteriorated concrete in it. I imagine I'm best breaking it all up and starting again. Can anyone give me a budget cost per m2 of say 6" reinforced concrete? Thanks

Yes, think that'll be best long term. Just after a budget price for the new concreting, ideally someone coming in and doing it all on top of the broken up base.

What you putting on it

General storage, would need to withstand telehandler and 2 tonne forklift.

Its about £80 cube so work on that.

I just done a rough calc, think you need aprox 20 cube @ £80 gives £1600 then add reinforcing and labour.

90x30 @ 6 inch is 38.2 cube, 38.2 x £80 = £3056 + reinforcing and labour.

A mate was quoted just over £2k to have a firm come and lay base for 60x30 shed

I wouldn't.
Do it once and do it right. You don't want to be digging it out and starting again for a third time in years to come.
6" pretty much industry standard for shed floors these days.

It's not the thickness of concrete, it's the quality of the base which gives the strength. Break up the existing, relay it with a good vibrating roll. If it is only for a tractor 4 inches is plenty

I was quoted £69.25 per m3 for RC40 grade ready-mix, delivered. Waiting time allowed, 5 mins per m3 then an overtime charge of £78 per hour

I would def go no less than 6" thickness if its having any sort of machinery running on it.

Anyone got any recent costs for a pump-truck? Would need to pump about 20 cube, about 60 metres along the ground, from the nearest hard standing. Unfortunately ground is now too wet and slippy to risk sending a ready-mix truck to where I need the concrete poured.

Depending on the nature of the job, i have seen it done with a dumper truck, i'm sure much cheeper than a pump.

Thats a good price, we paid £82 per cube today for 8 cube.

The difference in price between using an inch less stone and replacing it with an inch more concrete is bugger all compared to the extra strength of the floor you end up with
